Parents’ Guide to the OSPI Behavior Menu of Best Practices and Strategies

This is a guide to help you, the parent, understand best practices for discipline as presented by Washington State’s Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) in their online booklet, OSPI Discipline Menu of Best Practices and Strategies. The Discipline menu, along with the menu for English Language Arts and Mathematics, can be found at https://www.k12.wa.us/student-success/support-programs/learning-assistance-program-lap/menus-best-practices-strategies

Our hope is that this booklet helps you partner with schools to give your child(ren) the best possible educational outcome.
